We are happy to announce the signing of a 15-vessel block agreement between MSC Shipmanagement Limited (MSC) and Al Blagha Industrial (ABIC).

The agreement has been the result of successful undertaking of the pilot project, MSC ALIZEE III, which is nearing completion in ABIC – DSY.

This agreement portrays the keen interest and commitment by both Companies to continue building the excellent relationship and working closely together on long term basis.

Amongst others, the main project works of MSC ALIZEE III were:-

• 4th Special Periodic Survey (DNV Class)
• Installation of BWTS
• Steel renewals, 100t +, in various locations
• Renewal of cell guides in 5nos Cargo Hold, 700m +
• All 20nos hatch covers removed, repairs and treatment
• All 4nos alternators overhauling and 65+ motors overhauling (1Kw-800Kw)
• Coating upgradation of Accommodation & all 3 nos Cranes by Rope Access
• Total around 30,000 sqm treatment, (Hull, Cargo Holds, Main deck, etc)
• M/E Fuel pumps, various coolers, heaters and pumps overhauling
• Propeller withdrawal, FWD and Aft Stern tube seals renewal and propeller silicon coating
• Bow thruster complete overhaul
• Rudder steel repair and pressure testing, Glass flake coating
• MGPS Renewal
• E/R Piping & Others.
